International NCSC OneConference 2016 - Protecting Bits & Atoms
We would like to thank all our speakers and guests for making the fourth edition of our international One Conference 2016 an outstanding conference! We worked hard on delivering a high quality programme built on the theme ‘Let’s get ready’ and we exceeded our expectations.
The NCSC One Conference 2016 hosted by BBC presenter Nicholas Witchell was all about Cybersecurity.
We had a great line-up of speakers, including names such as Eugene Kaspersky (Kaspersky Lab) on the Dark Ages of Cybersecurity, Al Kinney (KEYW Corporation) on National Cyber Power, Wilbert Tomesen (Dutch Data Protection Authority) on the Dutch Data Breach Notification Obligation, Raj Samani (Intel Security) on Tackling Cybercrime, Kimberly Zenz (Verisign iDefense) on the RuNet, Ronald Prins (Fox-IT) on Protecting Bits & Atoms, Lance Dubsky (FireEye) on the Cyber Threat Landscape and James Lyne (SANS) on Cybercrime in 2016.
This international two-day conference, consisted of both plenary sessions and parallel tracks. There were technical subjects, such as malware, detection, incident reponse, law enforcement cases, but also less technical subjects on organizational aspects of security, strategy and public-private partnerships. Also included in the programme were some interesting research projects from private companies and academia.
