Coordination & support
We serve as the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) for critical and essential organisations in specific sectors in the Netherlands. The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) operates a cyber incident reporting line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Organisations can send reports to cert@ncsc.nl or voluntary report an incident using this form.
Sectoral CSIRTs
In the Netherlands, there are several sectoral CSIRTs from which organisations can request assistance with cyber incidents. For help, please contact your CSIRT.
- IBD (for Dutch municipalities)
- CERT WM (for Dutch water authorities)
- Z-CERT (for the Dutch healthcare sector)
- SURF (for education and research institutions)
Support
Our 24/7 support is tailored to the situation and may include:
- a telephone intake following an incident report, where appropriate
- advice on managing IT incidents
- malware analysis to determine the nature and severity of an infection
- assessment of leaked data
- engaging our national and international network where necessary
- deploying our own incident response and/or analysis tools for log analysis and malware remediation
- support for technical staff at constituent organisations
- support for management at constituent organisations, provided by experienced incident response coordinators
- on-site assistance where necessary
