NCSC en Oekraïens SSSCIP bundelen krachten om digitale weerbaarheid te versterken

Oleksandr Potii, Chairman of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP), met with Matthijs van Amelsfort, General Director of the National Cyber Security Centre of the Netherlands (NCSC-NL), to mark the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement paves the way for strategic investments in information exchange and expertise-sharing to bolster cybersecurity capacities.
Expressing his gratitude to the Dutch Government, Mr Potii underscored the vital importance of the Netherlands' continued support. He noted that since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine has confronted unprecedented challenges that no nation has ever faced before – ranging from kinetic strikes on the ground to aggressive hostile operations in cyberspace.
“Ukraine has gained crucial, real-world experience in this fight, and we stand ready to share it with our partners to build joint operational protocols and effectively counter adversary attacks.”
Matthijs van Amelsfort welcomed the opportunity to exchange actionable intelligence and technical expertise with the SSSCIP under the newly signed MoU: “This moment represents an important milestone in the partnership between Ukraine and the Netherlands in the field of cyber security. We are committed to invest in this relationship to strengthen both our capabilities”. Both sides highlighted that this partnership will enhance mutual situational awareness and significantly reduce response times when dealing with emerging cyber threats.
In addition, both sides discussed strategies to bolster national cyber resilience, stressing the necessity of close cooperation across public and private sectors in both civilian and military domains.
