Risk management

Risk management is the process of identifying, analysing, assessing and controlling risks that may affect an organisation’s objectives. It encompasses both opportunities and threats. The aim of risk management is to use proactive measures to reduce the likelihood of problems and to better prepare the organisation for unexpected events.
