Following the recent reform of the EU Network and Information Security Directive, this study aimed at identifying the changes in the requirements and tasks of the Computer Security Incident Response Team. The legal analysis of the new NIS2 in comparison to the NIS1, showed that tasks and competences of CSIRTs have been considerably upgraded in NIS2.
